Welcome to Miss Utility of Delmarva / USPCD
Miss Utility, for “Miss the Utilities”, is the name commonly used to refer to Utilities Service Protection Center of Delmarva Inc.

What is Miss Utility?
1. The “Approved notification center” for the State of Delaware as per Delaware Code, and Certified by the Maryland Public Service Commission to be the “One-call system” for the portion of Maryland on the Delmarva Peninsula, commonly referred as the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

2. A not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to Prevent Damage to Underground Infrastructure by doing the following:

  1. performing the "Approved Notification Center" and the "One-Call System" functions
  2. fostering a sense of shared responsibility for the protection of underground facilities
  3. developing and conducting education programs and public awareness campaigns
Excavation damage can cause injury, loss of life, and environmental damage. It also causes interruptions to vital services and can involve tremendous repair cost.
